A player who leads by example, Thompson has become a true favourite among the Knights fanbase thanks to his metre-making carries and 80-minute performances in the middle.

After picking up the 2022 Graham Steadman Player of the Year Award, the 2023 Players’ Player of the Year, Thompson was crowned 2024 Forward of the Year.

His barnstorming performances across 30 appearances in 2024 also earned him a nomination for Championship Player of the Year.

The vastly experienced forward boasts more than 180 Betfred Super League games in spells with Castleford Tigers, Hull FC, Leigh Leopards and Leeds Rhinos.
