Pemberton is one of the most exciting prospects in the Knights squad.

The hooker, who can also cover in the halves and at loose forward, joined York on loan from reigning Betfred Super League champions St Helens in August 2023, scoring a try on his debut in the 40-30 win at Widnes Vikings.

Pemberton went to feature seven times in 2023, playing a key role during the run-in to York’s dramatic finish inside the Betfred Championship Play-Offs.

In 2024, he featured eight times, scoring three tries and kicking 17 goals, including five in the dramatic comeback win at Swinton.

Prior to his loan move to the Knights, Pemberton played twice for St Helens in the Betfred Super League against Castleford Tigers and Wakefield Trinity.
