Cook arrived at York mid-season in 2024, and joined after time at Mackay Cutters, New Zealand Warriors, Newcastle Knights and France's Racing Club Albi XIII.

The hooker played a total of 82 games in the New South Wales Cup, and he made his professional debut for the New Zealand Warriors at the start of the 2018 season.

In mid 2019, Cook went on to sign for the Mackay Cutters, playing 14 games in the Queensland Cup.

Cook scored five tries in seven games for York last season, playing both in the halves and at hooker, as the Knights progressed into the Championship play-offs.
