The mercurial talent at the heart of the Knights attack, Hingano has elated supporters with his slick ball-handling and ability to create try-scoring opportunities.

The Tonga international put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Knights after a successful loan spell in 2022 from Leigh Centurions, for whom he appeared 18 times in the side’s Betfred Championship promotion-winning campaign.

The Auckland-born half-back began his professional career in the NRL, with New Zealand Warriors and Canberra Raiders before moving to England in 2021 when signing for Betfred Super League side Salford Red Devils. A switch to Leigh followed a year later.

The playmaker has earned eight caps for Tonga, featuring in all of his nation’s matches during the 2017 World Cup.
