Donaghy provides pace to York’s options in the outside backs after an off-season move from Newcastle Thunder.

The versatile back, who is capable of featuring at full-back, wing and even half-back, made 49 appearances across four seasons with Newcastle, scoring 15 tries.

The North East man featured 26 times last year for Thunder, with only four Newcastle players making more appearances for Chris Thorman’s side.
