Hudson arrives at York Knights for 2025 from Castleford Tigers, the club he rejoined after being released by Leeds Rhinos at the end of the last campaign.

After starting his sporting career with AFC Sunderland as a goalkeeper, the 24-year switched to rugby league with Newcastle Thunder.

He caught the eye with Whitehaven before moving to the Tigers in 2022.

An achilles injury ruled him out for 2023, and he moved to Leeds Rhinos for 2024, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, the Leeds legend, John Holmes.
