2024 was a breakthrough year for Ward, who is one of a number of Heworth ARLFC products to have gone on to represent the Knights in recent years.

The outside back departed the Hull KR Academy for York after impressing during the 2022 pre-season.

Ward went on to make 18 appearances for the Knights last season, scoring seven tries.

He’ll be looking to cement his place in the starting 13 again in 2025.
