York RLFC are delighted to announce that Marcia Inn Bishopthorpe will be our Matchday Partner on Sunday as York Knights face Halifax Panthers in the Betfred Championship (3pm)!
The Marcia Inn is a multi-award-winning country pub and restaurant based in the beautiful North Yorkshire village of Bishopthorpe, within walking distance of York Racecourse.
Priding itself on quality food, and a range of beer, wines and spirits, which you can enjoy in relaxed, comfortable surroundings, including a large beer garden.
Serving up delicious traditional English pub classics plus other ever-changing seasonal daily specials. Head Chef Nick Petch aided by his hard-working kitchen staff continuously delivers a creative offering using local produce and suppliers where possible.
Function facilities are available for special events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and more. With bespoke menus available for funeral teas.
The tap room bar area, which is dog-friendly, boasts Sky TV on two screens and an array of drinks including six cask ales, four lagers and an extensive wine list.
Wednesday nights from 9pm see the very popular weekly quiz, with £1 entry per person with cash prizes and free supper.
There are also many annual events throughout the year including a beer festival, live music, ‘Meet The Brewer’ night, wine events and a bonfire and fireworks show in November.
