York RLFC Foundation has benefited from a day of fundraising at the Lord Mayor of York's Charity Golf Day!
The annual event helps raise money for various local charities, this year including our Foundation, with more than 30 teams entering the competition which was held at Pike Hills Golf Club.
The York RLFC Foundation is one of the charities supported by the Lord Mayor of York's fundraising committee, which is led by Lord Mayor Margaret Wells and Sheriff Fiona Fitzpatrick for the 2024-2025 civic year. Other charities include the Stroke Association, Survive, and York City Football Club Foundation.
York RLFC general manager, Neil Gulliver, said: "We were delighted to be selected as one of the Lord Mayor's charities for this year.
"It's been great to be able to raise the profile of our work to the wider community in York."
The York RLFC Foundation is the community partner of York RLFC and works to deliver a range of initiatives to schools and communities throughout York and North Yorkshire. The Foundation is a registered charity (Number 1112571) and over the years has engaged with thousands of children and young people.
