York RLFC are pleased to announce Bartercard as a new shirt partner for the 2023 season.
The partnership with the company began earlier this season and has seen York RLFC benefit from Bartercard’s range of partner companies over the last six months.
Now, the relationship steps up a gear and will see the company’s brand appear on the back of both our Knights and Valkyrie shirts throughout 2023.
Bartercard is a worldwide trade exchange and a globally recognised business-to-business brand and are an organisation that has relationships with other sporting teams, showcasing their passion for the industry.
On the partnership, York RLFC Chairman Clint Goodchild said: “I’m delighted to confirm this agreement with Bartercard for the 2023 season.
“We’ve already experienced the benefits of their services throughout the latter part of 2022, including through a number of retail products our supporters have been able to purchase from our Club Shop.
“I’m really excited to see the results of this relationship and I’m confident that it will be of benefit to our supporters and business partners over the course of 2023.”
Chris Kirby, Managing Director of Bartercard, said: "There is a real buzz around the Knights and Valkyrie and I am looking forward to sharing that success with them on behalf of Bartercard."

Aside from the sponsorship money, Knights and Valkyrie will also benefit financially from the service that Bartercard provides.
As the world's largest trade exchange, Bartercard allows its members, whatever industry they are in, to buy essential goods and services without having to use up their cash reserves.
This can include buying anything from printing, advertising, stationery, maintenance, furniture, telecoms or computer systems.
In return, clients simply credit their Bartercard accounts by selling any spare capacity or unused goods or services to other members of the exchange, of which there are currently over 2,500 in the UK.
