York RLFC are delighted to confirm that York St John University will continue their long-term partnership with the Club into the 2023 season.
The local university became a partner of York RLFC initially for the 2017 season, a year that saw the Club’s teams begin to utilise the state-of-the-art facilities at York St John University’s Sports Park – facilities that York RLFC continue to use to this day.
2023 will see York St John University’s brand feature across both the playing kits of the Knights and Valkyrie as well as being emblazoned across the training kit for both teams.
The relationship with the university also sees our Foundation staff coach the York St John University Rugby League team.
On the partnership, York RLFC Chairman Clint Goodchild said: “This relationship has been a key one for our Club in recent years and I’m really proud that we are in a position to continue this into 2023.
“It’s been a pleasure getting to know the team at YSJ throughout my first year as Chairman at York RLFC and I’m looking forward to our relationship growing stronger in the coming year.”
