York RLFC Foundation is delighted to confirm our latest School Holiday programme, with more sessions taking place across York!

York RLFC Foundation School Holiday programme plays a crucial role in our local community by offering children enjoyable, active, and free sessions, inspiring the next generation of York Knights and York Valkyrie stars.

Over the course of this year, the York RLFC Foundation have organised more than 100 sessions across dozens of venues with over 2500 children attending.

Our events typically catered for children aged 5-13 and were all open-access, free-to-attend with no pre-booking required. Refreshments were provided for all attendees, including fruit, snacks, and drinks. Our extended thanks to our partner Simon Baynes Wholesale for supplying the fruit for all our holiday sessions.

This Christmas Holiday

York RLFC Foundation is running a free session during the Christmas holidays which has been made possible thanks to the support of the City of York Council and funding received through the Local Council Ward Committee. Details of this free session can be found below!

WHAT: Free turn up & play, Indoor Multi-Sports Session

WHEN: Friday 3rd January, 1:30 – 3:30pm

WHERE: Our Lady’s Church Hall, Cornlands Road. YO24 3DX

WHO: Suitable for children aged 5 & upwards

TO BOOK: No need to book, just turn up on the day!

Please can we ask children to attend wearing suitable sports clothing and avoid wearing jewellery.
