A late starter in rugby league, Stimpson has developed a game that catches the eye with a strong carry and good work ethic.

She joined York in 2021, and in what was her first season in the sport, she was part of the squad that reached the Challenge Cup Final and the play-off semi-finals.

After missing 2023 with injury, Stimpson played ten times in 2024, scoring three tries in a season that was again affected with injury.
