Another one of the players from the Under 19s, Lauren Exley’s progress in rugby league has been rapid.

After only starting playing in 2022, the 19 year old made her debut for the Valkyrie first team

In August 2024 against Huddersfield Giants.

She made three appearances in 2024, including in the play-off semi-final win over Leeds Rhinos, the club where she’d previously been at before moving to York.

The forward also spent time on dual registration with Sheffield Eagles.

Exley has also represented England Community Lions.
