2024 was an exciting year for the young centre/second-row forward from Hull.

After linking up with the Valkyrie Under 19s while still playing with Hull FC, the 17 year old made her Super League debut for York in July in the win over Barrow Raiders, in the first of three appearances.

Sexton progressed through the girls’ pathways at Hull FC and in her first year at senior level last year, she scored five tries in her open age debut, and five more in the League 1 Grand Final at the end of the season.

Her form and potential has earned her a two year deal starting in 2025 with the Valkyrie.
