The ultimate utility player in the Valkyrie squad, Hetherington is capable of covering almost every position across the field, and by the end of 2024, two positions in one game!

Operating at both full-back and hooker, with player of the match performances in both 2024 play-off semi-final and Grand Final, Dagger went on to be named as Woman of Steel - the third consecutive year the award went to a Valkyrie player.

Dagger joined York from Castleford Tigers and has gone to establish herself as a vital part in the sides which won the 2023 and 2024 Grand Finals.

She was part of the England squad which travelled to Las Vegas to take on Australia.
