One of the top forwards in the Betfred Women’s Super League, Wood has been a vital member of the York’s pack ever since her move from Bradford Bulls in 2021.

Wood’s ability to make consistent metres in the middle, often during 80-minute stints, has formed part of the Valkyrie’s elite forward pack, with a record two consecutive Grand Final wins.

The Huddersfield-born prop was a near ever present in 2024, scoring 6 tries in 19 appearances.

An England international, Wood featured three times during the World Cup in 2022.
